Default Another milestone

Finally have the car ready for a run. With the unregistered vehicle permit in hand I will wheel the cobra out on Saturday for a "Technical Assessment". If nothing burns, breaks or falls off it's off for a wheel alignment on Monday and then an appointment with the Engineer... mmmmmmmmmmmm.

How about some Pics we havent seen any for a while.

(bringing mine to the meeting next week for an "inspection" -weather permitting).

That's a tidy bit of work you've done Pecal, you should be proud. Trimmed and all too.

How long have you been building the car?

And have you some foam for the steering wheel and dash? The engineer will most likely be looking for this. Who are you using?

You'll need to temp tape in place but of course this stuff always seems to be blowing out of the car later on.

Good luck on the all weekend test drive - lol!

Slowy,

It's taken me about 10 months to get to this stage.
I'm pretty pleased with the way the Harrison goes together, although, like most kits the have issues.
I have dash padding and a steering wheel pad I just don't want to put them on yet in case they blow off too soon...

Are the seats from the frames that Warwick has? I find them to be extremely comfortable on longer trips.

Looks great - cant beat an original looking interior. Black wrinkle finish on the shroud comes up great.

The seats are made by Classic and Sports Auto interiors here in Melbourne.

Slowy,

I've been talking to Bernie at Enkelmans, they'll be doing the engineering.

Tenrocca,

The photos aren't great, the interior is all carpet.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

While getting the car out of the shed tonight I felt an unwelcome feeling on my foot - the bl**dy clutch master cylinder is leaking - good ol' GM quality (maybe they subcontract them to Toyota) solve that tomorrow.

Pecal, great work, I really like the look of your seats. My seat belts exit the through the panel behind the seats same as yours, but I've put mine closer together. Do you have any problems with the position they're in? For example do you feel them close to your neck?

Wheeled the car out this morning for the first run. Just a short squirt around the block. Very nervous at first listening for noises and looking in the mirror for bits falling off. Ohh and then a tickle of the throttle mmmmm.
All was going well 'til I hit the brakes shiiiit - doesn't stop, well not quite that bad but the brakes are woeful, I need help, as you can see brakes aren't my strength.
First some basic stuff, the photo shows the plumbing. Please tell me it's right.
I noticed when I was bleeding the system that the pedal would go to floor for the rears but it would only go about half way for the fronts and very little fluid (or air) would come out of the front bleeders. I suspect the front circuits aren't working but that's just an uneducated guess.
