Not in Queensland but another great source for Jag bits is Jag-Daim in Melbourne. 1300 335375 chat to Brian Wheeler.
If you are going to replace your inboard rear brake rotors get the ventilated ones from Brian. Well worth the slightly extra costs. The kit comes complete with all spacers for your existing calipers etc.
Also rumor has it that Brian is developing an outboard rear brake conversion for series11 jag diffs ( Not the one in my gallery). He is adapting the later series hubs( which have outboard brakes) onto the series 11 lower arms etc.
The diff/arms/brakes assy in my gallery is a very very special one. :)

Re the Diff. I have a huge respect for a small independent Jag service business at Newmarket in Brisbane. Jag & Rover Spares Phone 07 33565255. He also wrecks Jags and Rovers so is a source for second hand stuff.
The main thing is he knows his Jags backwards and employs great Jag mechanics. But be warned, some find him a bit brash ... not arrogant ... just short and sharp in his responses. He is a very busy man. Actually the business is a bit strange but all the hot rod guys buy their Jag rear ends from him.

Thanks for that, great info once again, and Brians details also, the ventilated discs sound like the go, everything I've read says the inboard discs cook the diff seals so it makes no sense to do those at the same time. Thanks again. |

Actually most of the Cobras with Jag rears I've driven, the rear brakes were doing bugga all so very little heat was generated.
But you are right, the vented rotors don't cook the seals. |
