Default AC Quiz

What Car?
One of only 40 odd coupes built around 1970.
Small English boutique manufacturer, built on a 4" tubular chassis, aluminium doors and bonnet, trimmed in Italy, then sent back to UK to be fitted with an Ford FE 428 cube V8.
Quicker and substantially more expensive than an Aston DB6 at the time, one of the true road supercars of it's time.
AND.............it's being rebuilt in a workshop here on the North Coast.
(sorry no pics, I've signed a confidentiality agreement)

Spot on Richard.........quite a surprise to see this classic in a local workshop.
I'm told the only one in Aus, wouldn't have known it other than the AC plate on the firewall.
The body and trim all restored and the huge big block on an engine stand being fully rebuilt.
Don't know who owns it or where it's home is (thought it impolite to ask) but it's something very special.
Any ideas what its worth?

There is a quite a section on this in Trevor Legate's excellent book. I believe that would be quite valuable ...

It is only relatively recently that they have found fashion of there own and with that, increased value. In fact, many of them were butchered by their owners to make them in "Cobras".
