Surely wouldn't be to hard to work out!!!

.....there is one other person STUPID enough that I know of that does those speeds in a 60kph zone around that area!!!!

Maybe it was a shakedown for the coming PARK event!!!

The SVMGA must love it when they hear stuff like this, helps absolutely no one.

My first thought as well!!!
...Personally if your a Registered member of your local Club, and you get done under this legislation you should automatically forfeit you Membership and be banned from club events for a set period.....m2cw

Gee, you'd be a might miffed if it was on a test drive

Bit hard to explain to the owner............Err where's my car ? " umm I err left it with the errm ....ermm them blokes with the blue uniforms......"
I'm sure they look after it for you...........Oh & bye the way......you can't pick it up for a day or 2....see ya, & thanks for the drive %/.

Either way a pretty stupid thing to do.

:LOL:So funny you should mention Forster Road and the M1...is actually the spot of my only speeding fine in 26 yrs of driving on the M1 i Accelerated to pass a truck to get off at Forster rd..:LOL::LOL:
C'mon mate that is just MORONIC doing that speed there or any where that's residential and ...
..yes i do and regulary exceed the speed limit down here especially where we go from 80 to 60 then to 40 back to 50 to 100 and back to 40 and sorry again back to 80 all in the space of a 800mtrs....Sorry I forgot at which point I was speeding officer!!!!

BMK 09-27-2010 04:38 AM

Mmmm more importantly who is 38 years old..

Zedn 09-27-2010 05:38 AM

I will be in 8 years!:3DSMILE:

OZVENOM 09-27-2010 05:48 AM

oh it would be so easy.

I used to be 38 it seems i went from thirty to forty way to quick .
I dont think i could face a customer if i got their cobra impounded. Free services for the next 10 years would even come close to consoling them.
Craig is right in saying it is so easy to get to 100 mph with out realising it. A quick squirt and bang your done if you happen to get caught you are labeled a hoon . I am very sedate on the road it helps driving an old f100 around. But I do like to go hard on the track.
See you all in a few days.

It made news on the Herald Sun and NineMSN networks. Great way to promote the hobby. What a dick!

boxhead 09-28-2010 08:37 PM

So is it anyone we know?
There are names being insinuated but no one has said"I am the idiot, I am sorry"

Aussie Mike 09-28-2010 08:42 PM

All I know is it was a bloody stupid thing to do. It could be forgiven if it was on the motorway but not on a residential street.

From the news articles on the web, it would appear that the "hoon" in question of this thread will most likely now be heading to court.

As if they're going to be owning up to anything on a public forum!!

boxhead 09-28-2010 10:46 PM

I dare say he has been caught red handed, so not much chance of getting off.

Seems to be a lot of "new" user names popping into this thread.
