Thumbs up I'll make 1000hp at any cost...

Jason's comments about the wisdom of shooting for four figure horsepower levels got me fired up. Look what I found today.....

If you paint your gas tank blue and apply a couple of strategically placed stickers, the 2Fast2Furious crowd would worship you as the almighty NOS God !

This was one of TWO bottles being fitted to a local 300ZX twin turbo. These guys are a laugh! There are muscle cars up here running deep into the 8s with one measly bottle. The import guys must know something that the real racers haven't worked out yet....

Nice to see GT40 getting a good showing.

They used 3 x RCR GT40 replicas for the movie.

Default How about a couple of hair dryers

750HP Craig a couple of small turbos and you don't have to refill the tanks, power always on the gas pedal. You said money was no object.Besides how about 1,200 hp. Just add more pressure. Rick l.

Rick - this photo was just taken for a laugh nearly 8 years ago. I've never owned a nitrous kit and never will. "All throttle, no bottle" works for me (as long as there's a crank driven hair dryer bolted on)
I never saw proof, but it made 805hp @ 6000 and 859hp @ 6400. It made another 6lb boost and revved to 7500rpm after that dyno run. Would that have been enough to hit 4 figures?

I'm keen to see the RCR GT40s in the movie. I hope they haven't dubbed a different engine sound. When I saw a movie with a Ducati that had a 4cyl sportsbike engine note dubbed in, I lost faith in Hollywood...!

HA ha In HOT ROD magazine they did a bit on the mustang in the fast and f movie. In the movie the kid put a turbo 6 in it and went drifting. The magazine revealed the turbo 6 mustang couldn't do the deal so they built an identical V8 version and dubbed the ricer sound in !

I havent seen tho movie yet, but I have heard people reffering to it as "Fat and Furry Arsed"
Not sure if that is because the actors are a little older than they where in the first one.
