G'day Legless.
Thanks for sharing the pics mate! Hopefully the weather will hold out tomorrow and be a dry one. Chances are you'll see me running around with the camera taking some snaps too. Be sure to say g'day. Cheers. Steve. |
Great photos! Looks like those of us back home are in for some great action shots over the course of the weekend. Have fun guys!
|
Thanks Guys,
Unfortunately its back to work for me, I'll look forward to seeing some of Steve's much better shots from over the weekend. Plenty going on down there with motors out, diffs out buffing out bingles and all the associated gremlins. cheers Paul |
Thx for the photos everyone.
I am sure for those of us who could not make it, we will all muchly appreciate any and all photos taken over the weekend. I would like to see some of interiors and under bonnets too if I can place my order - lol. Plus photos of the trade stand vehicles too :) Thx all |
Glad to see Ben made it.
|
Any updates?
How did things go? Did it stay dry? Did everyone have fun? And more pics please. :) |
G'day Dave.
I've got a few pics from the event below to wet your whistle. I'll be able to post some more over the coming few days. There were a fair few delays due to rain over the weekend, as well as a couple of delays due to a timing mishap upon the hill climb (photo sequence still to come). I'm not sure how many competitors lost out due to the weather, however I suspect most cars got the opportunity to flex their muscles. Hopefully somebody will be able to provide some feedback as to the results from the show-n-shine and timed events. All I know is that the prodigal "Most Authentic/Original Cobra" trophy made it's way back to its papa! http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...arked75dpi.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...arked75dpi.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...arked75dpi.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...arked75dpi.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...arked75dpi.jpg http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/i...arked75dpi.jpg |
Pics are great thanks Stephen, more the merrier.
Thank Fark the concrete & toothebrush car did not get it again. |
Just got home after a quick blast up the freeway in intermittent rain. **)
Another great weekend - although exploding cars caused as much disruption as the rain. Everyone got a go on Sunday, and some fun track time for those that stayed around at the end of the day. Had a ball, and despite not being perfect still had much more time on the track then last year. A lot of beautifully presented cars at the show'n'shine, with Beejay picking up second. Well done Benny. David, The only award I could have possibly got was best spin whilst doing a "dry the track" lap with Gav in the car laughing so hard he nearly wet himself. ;) |
Awesome few days away, had a lot of fun. Great to catch up with everyone.
The car went really well, although I got really wet on he way home! Will go through some pics when I have unpacked. Ben. |
Stephen those shots of that black RF Gt40 look awesome (infact all pics look great). Who owns that car and do you have anymore shots of it?
|
|
Cheers
That is an awesome Gt40.....don't stand to close to the back or you'll get sucked into that turbo..... |
The black GT40 was a fantastic car. Looked and sounded excellent doing the drag runs.
