Bclub invitational track day, Wakefield park
We are looking at doing a track day at Wakefield on 10th Jan. It is the first Speed of the street day in 2011.
No Trophies, No T-Shirts or Goody bag unfortunately - just turn up and have a bit of fun. May have to play it a bit by ear with the weather so unpredictable these days, but will keep everyone updated. Let me know if your interested so we can get an idea of numbers. For anyone who has seen the latest snake tales, I have had new james bond style heat seakers installed behind the headlights, so enter at own risk. :) |
Sounds good Andrew, As long I am not out on the track at the same time as you I will feel safe. Is the stig coming with you?

3 of us at present from Canberra. Forecast is"A few showers" all the way from Sydney to Canberra. Lowest temp is Goulburn - 19 deg. So it is a bit cool, but "a few showers" may be AOK. |

At this stage Thursday is looking like the only viable option weather wise, so we have decided to officially shift the date then (13th). Will keep everyone updated.

Current Status - Just spoke to Wakefield. Has been no rain today apart from a tiny shower early morning. Tomorrows forecast is better - <1mm rain predicted. All run offs are good - not wet. If anyone else is still keen I would like to go as it may be my last opportunity for a while. Am happy to make the call early morning after looking at the radar - if no one else is keen I wont go though.
