Default would you believe......another bloke shed

Next week the demobots role in to knock down the rear of my existing double garage. It is being extended by 3 meters in length, so will be 5.8m wide x 10.1m long.

The new section will of course be brick, and the truss and roofline are being extended/re-done so it will look like it was meant to be built in that size originally.

Sadly due to the "sideways" configuration in which I will be building a Cobra, and a lack of height, there will be no hoist

The floor will be Racedeck, and storage will be by Gladiator (more on that as the project continues!)

Here is the extension space - the fence, garage back wall and that corner with the door are being knocked down, and the garage will go up to the boundary

The existing paved area is also being re-done, that garden bed is going and paving will extend to the fence with a new pergola/verandah and extended running space for ankle biters

Here is the artist's rendering

Merv, I might be wrong but I assume your asking about the rubbish bin? Victoria's probably similar to South Australia where we have
1 small bin with a red lid for household rubbish.
1 large bin with a yellow lid for recycling and
1 large bin with a green lid for garden refuse.

Regards.

Yes thanks Mando. That bin lid looks pink in the photo and I was wondering what kind of refuse that could attract! We have the same here except the red/pink one has a green lid, as does the garden waste bin .... different green. It is QLD.

Looks good Modena. I think your artist has used Google Sketchup, which is a great tool for doing quick renders like this. Love to know where he/she got the 3D models for the cars though.

they came, they saw, they demolished;

the Audi is parked about 1.5meters further forward than it would usually be placed - so there is plenty of room for a Cobra build!

should be 1-2 months until the structure w/roof is finished, then a while to tidy up inside, plaster, paint etc, so hopefully around 3 months.

we're grabbing the last couple of days before it rains (again) for a week - footings will be dug tomorrow, so final fence demolition happened impromptu this evening;
