Gidday all,

Seeing as the burbs don't have room for the awesome sheds that are currently under construction I've been wondering what to do with my shell whilst having room to work on the chassis.

So I've come up with a compromise seeing as burning jarrah is not PC anymore. A body dolly to mount it up out of the way until they can be reunited again.

It's wide enough that the chassis can be moved out from under it - even once the wheels go on. So hopefully the build can now progress.

Let me know what others have done with limited space.

assuming you have space to park a car, 4-poster hoist will keep the body up out of the way, not to mention being useful. If you have limited ceiling height, the body should still be well high-enough with no windscreen, to be out of the way.

Make sure the body is correctly supported....fibre glass will sag and take on a different shape making refitting the body difficult.

I used an old hospital bed. It already had wheels and could be raised and lowered.

Theres a guy on here in the US who uses 4 heavy duty ratchet straps hooked under each wheel arch and hangs it from the ceiling.
