Cheeky so-and-so. ;)

If only we could have the old school carby looks with all the benefits of EFI.

How about this ...

Granted, the fuel rails are there and there will some cabling for the injectors, but overall, not too bad, I reckon.

Have you got a single evaporator or a pair of them ?

BJ's Snake 05-13-2011 05:07 AM

Hi Rob

There is two converters for this set up and a bigger feed line.

Not sure I have looked at that distributor since putting it in Rob. With Fords the need is not great.

The $24 ELM327 interface arrived today. I'll post my experience with it once I've acquired some software.

jcraigau 05-16-2011 09:42 AM

Hey Sambo,

I''m using Torque on my Android phone with my ELM327, works a treat!

I have played with Torque on my android but my ELM is USB so I will have to use my laptop.

jcraigau 05-16-2011 10:22 PM

Ahhh, I went with the bluetooth.

sambo 05-17-2011 04:56 PM

I got the el-cheapo ELM327 USB interface working with my Volkswagen GTI last night using TouchScan software trial edition. It can view engine parameters while running, log data, read error codes, etc. This is encouraging because VWs are notoriously fussy with generic ODB2 readers. I'll give it a go with the Cobra on Friday.

boxhead 05-17-2011 05:41 PM

I use my ears and the seat of my pants, I know when something isnt right.
