I have this DVD set in my collection and regularly enjoy it. It's a "must have" for any Cobra enthusiast, in my opinion.

Note, this BBC documentary has since been renamed "The Snake and the Stallion" and is available directly from Spirit Level Film, the producer.

The 'GT Racer' DVD series from spirit level is a must have.
The in car footage of all the various cars (including cobras) is fantastic.

I have watched it since buying it and it was fantastic value. Great scenes and rare interviews with most of the main players. Those Corvettes must have been so destroyed by the immediate dominance of the Cobras!

Is that both DVD's Greg?

If I can get some idea of interest from forum members then I'll find out what deals can be done, if any.

Cheers

Five DVDs arrived from Spirit Level films today, 8 discs in total - Snake/Stallion and the GT Racer bundle. That's quite a bit to get through but I'll post some impressions when I get a chance.

They sent 5 vouchers for 5 pounds off, limited to one voucher per order. PM me if you'd like one of the codes. Valid til 31st Dec.

Snake and the Stallion was great viewing. Disc 1 contains the original release, tells the story up to and including the Daytona's win at Le Mans. On disc 2 which I haven't watched yet, deleted scenes culled from the original 3 hrs of footage plus loads of extras, including stills and full interview transcripts.

I watched half of the first GT Racer movie, shot in 2007. Basically a load of cashed up blokes hammering historic (pre '66) GT cars around tight European street circuits. Plenty of wild 'Vettes, Cobras, Jags, a Lotus 11, too many to mention. Highly recommended.
