Hmmmmm - disappointed you edited your post spook ol son. I was going to have a good go - but may have to wait another day :)
Although.........It does appear my worthless opinion is a view shared by the majority on this thread - so Ill just assume you consider all opinions other then yours as worthless, and leave it at that. Byron Cobra - apologies if I sounded a bit harsh before, but I reckon yours is such a beautiful looking car with the halibrands. You have to make em fit. Cheers |
Worthlessly Andrew - I agree. The smaller rims with more 'balloon' in the tyres always look better somehow.
|
Allright, allright, Spooks wheels have been sacked, the Hallis' are back on shod with 245/45 x 16s, less balloon than the 50 series for sure.
It looks this will solve the scrubbing, I just need to get out in the sunshine and do a test run.....pics to follow. thanks for the opinions (not):) |
Greg what pcd are the gold wheels?

Took you all day to think of that? Couple of points - the gold wheels look $hit. they looked $hit on your car, and they look $hit on Byrons. When you put the spinners on, they looked like *hit wearing a tiffany pendant - still $hit, just trying to disguise themselves as something not so $hit. At least Byron was taking the piss when he tried them on his - you were bloody serious. You sold the car and the first thing the guy who bought it did was put some decent wheels on (thank Christ for that) You just take yourself far too seriously mate - always have and always will. Anyway - cant wait to catch up at nats and Ill buy you a beer. If you ever get out from underneath your car or when you get tired of pointing backwards on the track (something you did in old number 7, the old race car and the new one - common link anyone???). And you my son - are the biggest tool to ever grace the pages of the forum. Why dont you start another thread about wanting to withdraw your club cobra membership? Where is that old thread - I reckon we can resurrect it so you don't have to start again. Ahhhhhhh........thats better Cheers :) (BTW - nice edit again. Make a statement and at least have the guts to stand by it. pu$$y) |

Now take the chill pill, you've earn't it!!...:p Sorry had to post then edit it...so I could laugh at myself!!%/ |
I think we all know how I feel about editing posts after they've been responded to. If you've forgotten... Unscrupulous Modifiers
Yup, that bothers me almost as much as some wankers who go overboard in commenting on some fellow Cobra owner's choice of mfg, paint, engine...or the color/style of their wheels. We all expect a few snide/funny remarks around this place...keeps us on our toes. But learn to use some freeking discretion in how far you go. That's it... Thank you all for your expected cooperation. Have a nice day. God be with you. May all your dreams come forth on the wings of unicorns. |
My 2 previous posts were edited as my comments on review were inflammatory as a response to personal comments directed at me. These comments on instant reflection were not in the interests of this forum so I removed. My bad sorry jamo. However tenrocca your posts only reiterates my last edited comment which u highlighted! Thank u. You are a wanker. Keep your beer! Spookypt

Sorry if I hurt your feelings spook. Despite me feeling some level of "intervention" was required, I had a bad day and lashed out inappropriately. Anyway - for those with an ability to laugh and laugh at themselves, here's a good clip that demonstrates the meaning of spooks favorite word:

Great video!

Thanks Jamo for jumping on site here.
Guys it is the role of the moderator to do exactly that, moderate - having said that, I do not think it is the moderators role to be a referee for any free for all criticism of each other or of another persons views. I know we Aussies have that happy knack of having a go at each other and then saying she's right mate. But a smiley face after criticising someone or unnecessary name calling, is not acceptable. You all need to be aware that going back and changing a "Post" is not acceptable - refer to Jamos reference to the Forum rules. This Thread started off as a discussion on wheels and quickly went down hill with a few unnecessary Posts. Remember this Forum is world wide and a public forum. I think it does little for us Aussies to be seen in this light. Posts are read within seconds by forum members and browsers/guests. Simply going back and editing is not satisfactory or professional use of the forum. Remember, if you need to edit don't say it in the first place, the written or spoken word is the hardest to retract. Guys for what it is worth let's not keep this type of Post/ing going. Cheers Bernie |
spot on Bernie, if you need to retract, then make ANOTHER post with an apology or explanation as to your previous comments.

Modena.
I think we may find that editing will come to a halt after a number of minutes after placing a Post on. Editing will allow us to make spelling and grammar corrections but not go back hours or days later. Some car forums ban members for not meeting guidelines... I do not want to see that happen on this forum - in particular to any of us over here on the opposite side of the pond..%/ |
