Just had a look, cheap fun there.

Is it me or is the photo back to front, but the distributor looks to be at the back of the motor???

Must be why it is cheap, who in thier right mind would do that?

I've spoken to someone who has inspected the car, and can relay some info if anyone is keen wants to PM me.

Donunder (my Dad) is on holidays, so I'll answer on his behalf. He bought his Arntz and went through the compliance fun and games because he wanted a big block, 4 speed, IRS car with sidepipes. I am sure that you could buy a newer local car for a fair bit less than it'll take for this small block Arntz to reach reserve / import / pay GST / meet LO2 compliance, etc, etc. I'm not saying it's a $100k exercise, but don't be fooled into thinking it's "cheap".

Looks as strong as a tractor in the chassis and well built in the suspension.

I guess that your dad has this already Craig:

They're certainly not a lightweight, Merv!
Jag IRS and a standard bolt-in MGB front suspension. Brakes = weak. Steering = HEAVY! There's a much nicer IFS option now available to suit, with the pick-up points and geometry designed around M3 BMWs.

The Hot Rod mag contains an excellent article. Have a look at the width of the rear tyre!

Hey Merv, I actually have that mag. Was always a Ford guy but wanted a Corvette 'till I saw that and said 'must have one'. 10years later I bought my G-Force kit.

You saw the light David. I have, from a garage sale years ago, a fair few of the old Vintage Motor Sport magazines (Vintage Motorsport - The Journal of Motor Racing History ) and they have some outstanding articles and clear photos of Cobras and Daytonas. Certainly influenced me.

Love the photo above of the guy driving. He is feeling the force! Common pose in Cobras.
