Wazza, opportunity presents itself...
You can turn that dart into a 363. :-) That'll scare those ls babies... Gidy up |
It was tempting...
but wanted to use all the bits I already had.... no need for new pistons etc. etc..... When these ones have only done a couple of hundred "Careful" :eek:Kilometers ! e.g. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d..._5055351_n.jpg |

Great pics, not even god for a coffee table though. |
Balance is now returned.
Looks good Wazza. Dimis, they are already scared. http://i1112.photobucket.com/albums/...m/P1050878.jpg |
Any particular reason the engine is running a touch rich there Wazza
Hi Rog, Not really....always has run slightly rich ,the dyno mob sets it that way...normally don't see it, but I'm giving it a bootfull in that pic...it's probably "screaming "! Great shot Phil....LOVE it !... But what will I do when I get the LS7 up and running ??..... Will I be considered to be BI-ENGINAL !!?? I thought I was very STRAIGHT FORD, but perhaps I'm a LS-BIAN !!!!! Cheers, Warren. |

Not sure about that , but I really want to lick the opposition at the Nationals....does that count ??
Anyway...if I drive really quickly....er....you know......lickety split....my LAP times should be respectable. See what you've started ?? Anyway...enough of that...I'm off to the workshop to do some deburring and prep a nice new block. Cheers, Warren. |
enough smut talk
The new dart engine is finally all buttoned up with a little bit of bling on top i just hope it goes as good as it looks. will be back in its home this week.
let the nationals roll on . better get back to work got a few cars to get ready. |
Leverage can do great things, both good & bad.
|
Wazza, I never Split My Windsor, but I've busted my ass more than once. That's some pretty heavy art work you have. A real conversation piece.
|
Nearly all finished.....
Decided a Red and Black engine might be luckier than the previous engines.... (Ford Blue, Black and Silver...etc. etc.) All headers painted black today.... might end up looking a bit Retro when it's all finished. but it's a bit of fun anyway. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/data/500/085_2_.jpg All going back in on Friday....ready for next weekend's racing.... ( A Series sprints at Warwick ) That's one way to run it in !!!!! Cheers, Warren. |
man that is very 70's OEM (except for the chrome!)
|
Warren
"Go Fast" Red car, "Go Fast" red engine and to top it all off, a "Go Fast" red dipstick handle. Looks great and should ... go fast! Geof |
Wazza, mine all back together just waiting to get the right length serpentine belt (got rid of the gilmer, good for 10 more hp....lol) then i should be firing it up today.... Yep ready for the A series next weekend, only way to run them in I believe...... Perhaps we can just take it easy next weekend, let Wayne win this one.... waddya reckon ???? lol

As far as LETTING Proc win this weekend...... I'm all for that....you know what I always say....it's all about the camaraderie. ;) Let me get in front of you, so I can "control" any urges you get to drive too quickly... You can trust me .:3DSMILE: Cheers, Warren |
Wazza...You painted an alloy block ? Doesn't that make the heat dispersion a bit slower ?
The red looks good but...? |
It's not an alloy block....
The Dart Iron block is many times stronger than a standard Windsor block.... Would like to have an Alloy block , but way more expensive... See attached link as an example. Ford Small Blocks - Engine Blocks Cheers, Warren |
