I would do the same, except 8 throttle bodies.

Well I thought about this a bit, & thought if I was using my Harrison chassis I'd want the rest of the car as Australian as possible so
Option 1; 4.5 lt Repco Brabham ( the old formula Libre engine made for sports car racing) with a Harrop g'box behind it.
Option 2; this would have to be the trusty ol' Ford Cosworth 3 lt & a harrop box as well.
Like to idea of option 1 though. A very long time ago I saw one of those engines in an FJ show car.......amazing

Nelson Race Engines 632 BBC twin turbo warrior series.
on 91 octane : 1500Hp and 1300 ft lb but on race gas 2700hp and 2100ft lb torque.
About $55,000 us dollars per unit but at todays exchange rate ....
not sure a Cobra would handle it but it sure as hell would be fun trying!

It did make a bid for freedom and went through the garage door but as it wasn't painted no harm done... just a few scratches in the gelcoat. Got a shock to get home from work to find the car sitting in the driveway thats for sure.
car is progressing along tho... diff/rear suspension done, dash, seats, shifter, radiator mounted/ all external hardware sorted. Just engine mounts to do, throw in the motor/box, wire it up, driveshaft etc and then its time for the first drive.
When things have selted back to some sort of normality i'll put up some pics.
Major thing to do at the moment is build a new house and workshop or as my wife says a workshop with a house attached. (three car internal access garage with 12X7.2 external workshop plus car port)

Good luck with that Gibbo. We just had some friends from Christchurch and Dunedin with us here. Greg is an insurance assessor. Sounds like you were lucky to escape without even more damage.

Same as a 20 litre drum Mando.
Just some of the knick names used on Rotary motors.
As that is what they look like.

Modena
The Viper engine makes great power & torque for a light weight Cobra.
The picture of the Viper engine is my car, the Double Vemon Classic Roadster. Ed Combs built it in 1997. I won the car @ the Spring Fling Cobra event in London OH now the London Cobra Show.
