Dash Lights & Switches
Hi all. I have some questions regarding the minimum requirements for dash lights and switches for my cobra build.
Right now I have the following gauges:
Speedo
Tacho
Oil Press
Water Temp
Volts
Clock
So with all that I am wondering what switches and lights I need to install on my dash. I am thinking that I would need (as a minimum):
Switches:
Ignition
Lights - Low and High
Indicator - Left/Right
Windscreen Wipers
Windscreen Wash
Horn
Hazard
Dash Lights:
Brake Fail
High Beam
Park Brake Light
Indicator
Low Oil Press (do I need this if I have a gauge?)
Alternator Warning
Check Engine (I hope the ECU will outout something for this)
Note: I was not planning on installing a heater or demister given the no roof condition. I believe this is acceptable to the aussie rulemakers?
What am I missing? Should I have a master electrical switch? Do I need a fuel pump switch?
