I just heard of a bloke in the hunter valley that was going through the rego process and his engineer up and died......he has to find a new engineer and restart the process all over again ! This would try the best of those with lots of patience.

Worst he can do is say no but he sure ain't saying yes if you don't ask |
Best try my mobile - 0429 450 222. My details on the RMS / RTA / VSCCS website are out of date...
I have a runway to do the relevant testing, for a lot cheaper than hiring a race track, all we need to get people sorted is an IM240 test to the appropriate levels, and FEA of seat as belt mount points. Everything else I do in-house. Treeve |
Hey Treeve, Is that the old cudal airport? Spent a bit of time there in my youth as my dad used to run the aerial ag division of Hazeltons.

VSCCS certification signatories..
Hi Club,
I have posted a link to the current RMS/RTA recognized NSW engineering certification signatories both here and interstate as at 25 Jan 2012, as the PDF was to big to upload. Treeve gets a mention too....:) http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registrati...25_01_2012.pdf I would be keen to hear who you guys would recommend and have dealt with in the past as well as whether an interstate car is considered as an imported car or a AOV (as is an ICV) for cert purposes. John Varetimidis Consulmotive Pty Ltd was recommended by a member of my other forum as a good guy to deal with...but looking to keep options open... Thanks Adam |
Why would you think an interstate car might fall under the import category as opposed to ICV?
|
Sure fair one...because some of the guys I have phoned (may have been the off sider I was chatting with) were not sure as to whether or not they could certify interstate as they could certify some conditions not others...so I gather that I need the guys recognized for AOV (any other vehicle)%/

That's the direction I'd be heading. Good to see Treeve can do it all.
In line with what you mentioned, I have a modification approval plate on a "slightly" modified old Chev. The plate details the 6 modification codes and all 33 ADRs that are affected! After all that, he still doesn't have the authority to do the import approval on Dad's US built Cobra... |
Yep, you need someone with PAOV to do it. I've got a few hours with the RMS tomorrow to highlight a few of these questions, hopefully I can get you some answers!
Fingers crossed, Treeve |
Thanks Andrew,
keen to hear your results:cool: |
