Shed Space
Ash,
put me down for shed space thanks regards |
Ok guys I think we only have 4 garage spots left..... Get in quick!
Any of you southerners interested in making the trip North? Any more of you Northerners interested in making the trip South? |
Wish I could make it again this year but am booked in for a construction closure at Bowen until the 22nd. By the time I get down there it will be time to head home. Was able to attend the last two years and enjoyed the spectacle. Planning to go on the Nationals trip though.

Guys please do not send in your entries just yet. Neil from QR is redoing the entry forms for us, I think it may be a little cheaper for us, can't guarantee that! If you have already paid then it's too late. Just wait and I will post on here with a link to the form when it is available. You will not miss out on an entry, maybe just a shed if we run out. I have requested another bay of 3 spots, so in theory we have 3 more spots available. It is still a month away and they haven't started any of the paperwork for the event just yet. Please email me ashleybright71@yahoo.com.au to reserve your shed spot.

Towy, might be worth posting up a list of who has shed spots reserved. I've emailed the qld gt40 club about it, put a topic on gt40s.com and also let Phil walker of unique cars mag know about it being the 50th anniversary and Carroll Shelby s passing etc. I'll keep u posted.

Ready. |
Well it's on THIS weekend.
Been out to the track today for Friday practice and all I can say is this event is not to be missed... Hope to see you there... |
What a weekend as well... looking forward to seeing some awesome cars being used.
Anyone from the Gold Coast going on Sunday or travelling in a group? |
Is there a program online anywhere? If not, what time is the first Cobra race each day?
Any racers/exhibitors amongst us have a spare weekend pass that I could collect from them at the track? I can buy you lunch, and it saves an unused ticket from going to waste... Win/win! ;) |
Looks like racing starts at around 8:30 - 9:00.
Cobra/GT40 group is 3rd race on Saturday. Then another in the afternoon. Cobra/GT40 group is 6th race on Sunday. Then another in the afternoon. Tried to upload the schedule, but it is too large a PDF file at only 60KB. Can't optimise it any smaller in the time I have this morning. Hope that helps. |
Thanks Craig
