Default Does anyone live near Dubbo?

Hi, it's a long sho but I was just wondering if anyone lived near Dubbo and could have a look at and pick up and hold for me a "hard lid" off an F250 truck ute tub. Its size is roughly external measurements 2560mm long x 1910mm wide. If I can win the lid (ebay) I could drive the 12 hours down to get it and bring it back or alternatively if someone could grab it for me I could pick it next time one of my trucks passes through?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Matt

Matt,
my suggestition would be to get onto Larsens transport in Dubbo, they are the best bunch of people you'll ever want to deal with. They can probably take it to, and hold it at thier depot.
I recently scored some Yokie 352s on fleabay in Orange, Larsens helped me get them from orange to Dubbo where they held them until I decided I wanted them sent to Cobar. They held them in Cobar depot for a few weeks until my guy dropped in to pick them up, that was a saturday, had to call the guy at home and quite early too. All for a measly $70 odd.
I dealt with Larsens a lot when I lived in Trangie and it's great to see some things haven't changed, they still do a crash hot job.

If that failed which is UNpossible I'm sure I could help with another contact.

On the side note,
I was naturally happy to know my 225 anb 245 x 15 Yokies were going to be home soon. An ex customer from a previous job was heading to Vic to buy a new header (combine harvester for some) and have it trucked back through the inland route through Cobar, Charleville and Tambo etc while he and the bride escorted it. He kindly (bribed with rum)picked up the tyres and loaded them in his grain bin at Cobar and the truck went ok until Tambo where the back suspension on the poorly maintained rig punched clean through the chassis rail of the truck and bought the show to a halt. The header was unloaded and had to drive home the last 550 km at approx 30kmh, I met up with them camped on the side of the road on my way home, had a few beers with them and took my rubber.

Sometimes the things I buy have quite an adventure getting here.
