Plumbing
I'm thinking of changing my hoses and AN fittings to a different combination because I think the old red/blue fittings look out dated. I might keep the braided hose and change all the fittings to black/silver or change the hoses as well to the black hoses available now.
The individual fittings, reducers, nipples, bungs, connectors can be reanodized in another colour than the blue, probably to black.
Could anyone that has used a new and different combination post some pictures of what they have done!
Thanks in advance!
Regards.

Mando,
You're a gluten for punishment.
People (yes, me included) would kill for your current set up as it is.

How about $tainle$$ fittings? Not sure if they are available in all sizes you need but would be an option to avoid the red/blue.

Mando,
If I had your setup I wouldn't chance anything, however....... as we all know these are never finished. So I would re-anodise all fittings the same in either black or a dark grey (matching your footboxes) but keep your braided hose.
I have spoken to an anodising place who have done AN fittings and they advised that as long as all of the swivel connections have a connection on both parts then the colour will take and is a simple job.
I have used these guys in the past and will again in the future, I know they are not local to you but may be worth a call for any q's.

Mando - you're on the right track....but silver not black. Just thinking that if you went black, a couple of years down the track you might think that you need to change again
Which colour would be more period correct?
Cheers!

Plenty of photos of the "all black" look in Phil's thread below.

Mando,
I prefer to leave out the random blue and red fittings, so I did my engine bay using fittings from Summit. They had various polished and flat finishes.
Rocket Industries also has the Aeroflow fittings in various colours, pretty sure thats what Phil used.
Cheers,
Ben
