Default I've hit the wall - paid help needed.

Unfortunately I’ve run into some issues with my ticker and as a result my 250 GTO project is suffering and losing momentum. I don't want to throw a sheet over it and 'hope to get back to it one day' so I am wondering if anyone knows of a business in the Sydney area with staff multi-skilled in fibreglass and metal fabrication I could approach to work on the body installation. This is not a simple Tab ‘A’ into Slot ‘A’ need, there is a lot of problem-solving required around many points and while I have thought most of it through I’m sure more issues will arise.

Happy to receive replies here or via private messages. Thanks.

Sorry to hear you're not feeling well Peter.

I hope you're able to find someone to keep the momentum going on the 250 project and that you're soon fit and well again. Without being glib, and certainly not wanting to underplay the seriousness of your condition, you'll probably feel a lot better in yourself once the car starts making some forward progress again. I know I was feeling rotten when Craig and I hit the wall with his blue car. When Scott (Oz Venom) came to the rescue it was like a load had been lifted from our shoulders.

Pity you don't live up here in Godzone. We have two excellent fabricators and problem solvers in the aforementioned Scott Hampson, and also Peter Beehag who has a wealth of race car design and construction experience. His own Cobra is an absolute work of art. We're lucky to have both these hugely talented guys in the Queensland club.

You might want to talk to Ian at Classic Revival. He makes a GTO kit and also does the fitup etc. He might be able to help you finish yours off.

Cheers

I think Barry's car was built by Neil Streeting. He might be worth a call.

What about the technical colleges ? This project would be supervised and treated in the correct manner....How bad is the ticker ? Best wishes and a complete recovery I hope.
