Having a whinge.

I have been surfing the net looking for some super duper hubs and stub axles for Grover. The sand buggy/ off road racer industry are the suppliers of these products as some use VW sizing.

I found a company in the US emailed a few times to answer some questions, all good a quote given of $2250.00 delivered to my door.

By chance I stumbled across an Australian distributor for the same products, and contacted them with my request of part numbers and a qty no information needed.

This is where it all went wrong, the Australian distributor also buys from the same US supplier and spat the dummy as they should of referred them to me and not quoted.

The US supplier called me and said do you mind buying from the local Guy and I will make sure you do not pay any more than I have quoted.

All good until I get the invoice from the Australian distributor, the goods are in his shop and he wants an extra $500.00 just because he can

The Australian distributor who did nothing but take the part numbers and order them, I assume he got way better prices than my self and seriously added no value to the transaction but actually made it more difficult.

Australian retailers wake up to yourselves!!!!
