BRM knock on wheels forsale

1 Attachment(s)
I have a set of Vintage Wheels BRM type knock on wheels for sale.
They are 17 x 10.5 Back space 4inches and 17 x 7 inch wide Backspace 4inches with Sumo tyres, 245 and 315's tyres.
These wheels are a few years old but have never turned a kilometer on a car.
They come with Knock ons, spinners, lug nuts and lead hammer. These suit ford or Holden/ Chev/ Jag stud pattern.

Anyways if there is any interest let me know. Looking for about $2500 for the set.

Please forgive me for intruding into your advert, but my curiosity has gotten the better of me. Here, north of the equator, we call them "knock off" wheels. And that got me wondering. If we do the name backwards, and your water goes down the toilet in the opposite direction, do the knock offs spin in the opposite direction down there too? .......

Gav 01-08-2013 06:11 AM

The water in our toilets goes in a downwards direction.
Does that mean the effluent travels upwards up there in the northern hemisphere?

Sorry, on with the sale...

From where you're looking, yes, I suppose it does look like the effluent is traveling upward toward the viewer.

And now, back to the sale.

Either way SH#T HAPPENS !
Now back to the sale.......

BRM Wheel for Sale

I love the language!

Poo Happens!

If the wheels were designed with a Jag or Chevy stud pattern of 4.75 PCD I would have made you a intelligent cash offer around $2400.

Rx Stanley Kilmore Victoria.

Holden stud patern is the same as Jag (4 3/4" PCD). Just have to check if the pin drive adapters will go over your hubs. If they are anything like mine then they should fit over the Jag hub spiggot.

Cheers

Depends what you mean by "Holden", old Holdens (HQ'esque) 4.75" (120.65mm) while Commodore is 4.724" (120mm), subtle but important difference.

albanycobra 01-08-2013 06:54 PM

The wheels are chev/ jag pattern, but they are fitted to holden hubs.
So designed for chev/ Jag but fit on Holden aswell. Wheels are made and designed in the USA
by Vintage Wheels.

The major difference is the threads on the studs, commodore are metric. I have fitted plenty of commodore wheels (widened interceptor rims, with the offset adjusted) to HQ-WB's and have never had an issue.
Wheels are not drilled/stamped within 0.6mm accuracy!

Any idea of the back spacing?

albanycobra 01-08-2013 09:37 PM

Backspace fronts 4inches
Backspace rears 4 inches.

I have taken pics of how I measured back space if you get serious.
But basically the measurement is from where the wheel mounts hub to back lip of rim.

Good deal Dave!

albanycobra 01-09-2013 12:32 AM

Got an awesome deal coming up on some massive brake rotors and Brembo callipers as well.........**)

750hp 01-09-2013 12:36 AM

Did you ever sell the Super Victor EFI manifold?
What else do you have hiding away over there???

albanycobra 01-09-2013 03:55 AM

Hi Craig
I bought an unfinished project and am clearing out some stuff.

Yes I still have the Super Victor? You want it? I also have an alloy snorkel that mounts converts 3 inch throttle body to 4 barrel. Let me know.

albanycobra 01-09-2013 04:08 AM

Brembo's......bigger than Benny.

I have 2 massive 4 piston Brembo callipers and two huge disc rotorsapprox 350mm dia.
Parts are used .The callipers have brand new Hawk Blue Pads.
Suit Jag /Chev stud pattern. These massive brakes still had minor clearance in the 17 wheels I had advertised.
Price $550

These rotors are sitting on hubs for photo purposes. They are hat type rotors and slide onto your hubs.

Modena 01-09-2013 04:16 AM

Do you have part numbers of the calipers?

albanycobra 01-09-2013 04:25 AM

Sorry no I dont, I think I have the pad part number somewhere. Like I say I got them with an unfinished project I bought. I thought they might be ex NASCAR. There are no numbers on except for what looks like a stock number engraved into them. They are radial mount .

albanycobra 01-10-2013 12:03 AM

Wheels sold to JustCobra.......:)

Cmon someone must want some big brakes.....make an offer they have to go.
