Painted a DRB
Hey all,
Just wanted to post some pics of a DRB I finished painting last week. The owner went through my colour samples at my bodyshop and chose BMW Montrealblau. I suggested Volkswagen Casablanca white stripes. The car looks navy at night but is absolutely stunning when the sun hits it.
These pics are with the high solid clearcoat straight off the gun (no polishing). I think the combination is stunning! I was leaning toward the 'Eleanor' charcoal/black combo for my own Cobra but now I'm giving this some serious thought!
Hope you like!
Cheers,
Sime

Beautiful Colour....Looks Fantastic.......
And it's NOT GREY....LOVE IT !!!!
( BTW ...How do you post pics to the thread, without having to fill up your gallery with the photos ??).....
I've always downloaded pics to my gallery, and then to any post that I do...and later , if you want to remove the pics from the gallery to make room...they also remove themselves from any post that they're on previously ???
Cheers,
Warren

Thanks Guy! Apparently the team at Pace Engineering are about to start, or have just started my chassis. I was told possibly late January, but it may be sometime in February that I receive the rolling chassis and body as Craig and Co moved into their new facility a few weeks ago so no doubt they were (understandably) busy with the transition.
It's not too far off though!!!
