Default Mastertouch 327

Has anyone had anythink to do with Mastertouch327 in USA, they make Turkey pans and injection hats to suit Cobra and GT40. I ordered from web site paid by Pay Pal. but as to date have not received product have tried to email no response. They where recommended by Superperformance so one would think they are honest.

I have a set of sidespipes on order from them at the moment, they are quite slow.
I do get an answer from them when I email for an update.
If you need an email address or phone number let me know.

I ordered a set of stainless steel sidepipes and side louvers from MASTERTOUCH and did get them. The louvers were delivered in about 2 months but the sidepipes took 6 months (with a lot of pestering by me). I refused to pay the full amount up front, paid half to start the order and half upon completion & delivery. The sidepipes came out excellent, totally custom with OAL specified by me + a couple of other tricks, really nice job. The louvers also nice but will reserve comment until my builder gets them in to see how well they fit. As for appearance & durability - can't beat polished stainless steel.

I got a turkey pan from George at Mastertouch a couple of years ago.

He can be a bit cranky sometimes, and like all master crafstman i think you get it when its good and ready. that might not be when you expect it!

my order then took a long time to ship to me here in the UK. Are you shipping by surface mail or ups? i specified surface mail to save a few pennies, and it took ages. But there was also a mix up over my paypal delivery address (my fault), but it took a while to trace this and redirect the delivery. George also added some seatbelt escutcheon plates, which was a nice surprise when i unwrapped everything to say thanks for my patience.

I have all of Cochran's contact info, and as stated above have received all hardware so no need to contact him now. MASTERTOUCH is a family run business with George and is two sons, maybe some part time help but no indication of that when he was doing my orders. I think George does 90% of the work, I got the feeling his two sons were cut from the same cloth as "Mutt and Jeff"

How well did the Mastertouch turkey pan fit? He claims it will be custom cut for your carb.

I switched carbs and some of the holes in my turkey pan needed stretched out to fit. I will likley replace it.

Well Guys it turn up on Monday finally after getting onto PAY PAL, no damage to parcel, BUT, it dont fit, (sorry mounting holes do) but the rest well lets say not even in the paddock. Sent email asking if he sent wrong base, answer no you have to moditfy with dye grinder and saw. Somehow I'm lost if you supply all the information that the company wants and they say you need this product to fit the carb, You expect that product to fit. It would be like Me selling a customer a Automatic Trans to suit Gen 4 BUT GIVE THEM A OLD BW35 and tell them to cut and shut it somehow it'll fit Pig ### it will.
As we say Dont get mad get even. SO DONT BUY FROM MASTERTOUCH327. THE MAN DOESNT GIVE A S#$t. I will keep telling people not to buy from this company.
Not HAPPY Jan.
Thanks
Raaps.

That's crappy news Raaps. Sorry to hear.

Since you paid with PayPal, you can file a dispute and there's a very good chance they'll side with you as it is significantly not as described/made to specifications provided.

Good luck.

Sorry your experience has not equaled ours... over the years we've probably purchased 10 or more of his turkey pans (2 piece) and while we did have to develop our own combination of parts to work with them, and occasionally there is a little trimming or modification to achieve proper fit, I will say the overall quality and price is the best on the market.

Buy a pan from Tony Branda and then tell me what you think of MasterTouch.

Cashburn, the price, quality and finish perfect (2 piece), but that it still doesnt make it fit. The configuration of either Holley/ Quickfuel/ Barry Grant for a double pump carb are all the same. Trimming I can handle but not setting up mill machine to cut up to 1/2 inch out of throttle linkage hole to get correct movement, move (1) pump hole 1/4 inch.
Well I dicided I have ROUGH template now so I'll make my own.
Thanks for the inspiration Mastertouch327

I redrill the the 2 bolt holes in the _|_ shaped bracket to allow it to shift further outboard and then use 2 longer bolts with 1/4" spacers to bring the height up.
