Relaxing Easter

1 Attachment(s)
What are you guys up too?

It has been relaxing at its best here. Just watching a bit of motorsport on Speed.

Not much else.

It's not a good car weekend as the traffic is very heavy and the Police presence is over the top with roadworthy checks, breath testing and speed cameras everywhere...:(

It seems as if who ever gets the most fines wins....:o

Enjoy the break. Just watching the Portland Harbour come to life with ships coming and going - no rest for the ships crew or tugboats.

kicking back...family time:o

I have been having a workshop cleanout and watched a couple of boats in the Mildura 100 ski race.
We had a cruise down the river Friday, barby going and a couple of refreshing beverages.
the water cops are in full force too, so you have to be mindfull of what you are doing and consuming on and off the water.

Bruce

We saw Springsteen at Hanging Rock on Saturday night - absolutely brilliant, in my top 3 live gigs for sure. He had about 20 performers on stage, the sound was incredible, flat out for over 3 hours without a break. The man's got a Chevy for a heart.

Aside from that, just relaxed with family and friends, pulled up the last of the winter vegies and planted some broccoli. Dropped into Kenmer Engineering, fitted my catch can and discussed options for cleaning up the engine bay - over a beer of course.

No cops out my way except for one attending a minor accident. Wish he'd been tailing the hero in the R34 Skyline who thought he was on the set of Fast n Furious - P plates on display too.

Time to settle in for the long Melbourne winter. It's been a cracking summer though. :D

Sounds like you guys are having plenty of fun.
Me?
I'm sanding and polishing away. About 200 hours to go...
But it is rewarding and I am inching closer every week.

Enjoy your Easter break lads.
Take care.

Relaxing time at home enjoying cleaning and driving the new toy, can't replace the Cobra for Number 1 preference though.

Its the Cobra that was completed and registered years ago, then taken off the road to "tidy it up"

Top marks and congratulations to Spook and I thought I had a big weekend and Craig for four cars in a two car garage, at the moment I can only get one cobra in a three car garage :o

Thursday night: Checked out the brake pads and bled the brakes on the cobra. Took the electric cut out valve out of the exhaust and got a quote of $150 from QTP for UPS to ship a twenty five dollar butterfly valve.

Friday and Saturday I pressure washed the deck, its a big deck.
Sunday oiled the deck and pressure washed the driveway.

Monday painted the driveway.

Hopefully that should earn me enough brownie points to get a leave pass to the NSW Championship next weekend.:D

Aussie Mike 04-01-2013 05:56 PM

Congratulations Spooky. That's great news.

Cheers

Yep, too many distractions. Moving house, building a new workshop, working on other peoples cars etc. I'm trying to concentrate on getting mine finished now.

I'm also my own worst enemy. If there's something I don't like on the car I often end up re-doing it. Still, I'm enjoying tinkering with it.

Cheers

Guess you have built four Cobras over the time...:3DSMILE:

The Tuna was running the boats kept pulling up for the bait and tackle at the fishing shop down below our apartment. Guess some people have all the fun....:3DSMILE:
