Well this is far@kn insane!

On my iPad the image posted by Matt and Rog is right way up. On my pc it is upside down...

I cannot work out how to rotate the images and save them!!

At least I can lock rotation on my iPad I spose...

Good work on the pics (ok.. I am a bit biased) but I never get tired of cobra or GT40 pics.

I also agree with Spook on this, aside from how cold the morning was, it was a great weekend weather wise, and a great weekend with tons of good racing at the track but I would have thought that there would have been at least 5 times more cobra guys there.

Time to get myself a helmet for next year.

Looks like due to clashes with racer dates this year (A series is on the same date as 2 Days of Thunder) entry numbers for the 2014 2 Days of Thunder will be an issue. While Qld Raceway are advertising our involvement, we have been trying to secure sheds for the event since before Christmas without success. (We were in the mud last year) So now the dates clash the QLD Club is going to put on a club driver training day with Paul Stokel and double up as our AGM weekend at the same time which is great idea.

So LJ and Co don't come all the way up for the weekend as I think participant numbers may be very very short. If you take away the regular A series crew and also guys building/rebuilding their car plus Towy and Wazza no longer racing Cobras etc there are not many left...

So looks like all boats are leading to Sat June 7 track day. Will be much cheaper than 3 days at QR and will probably get more laps in anyway.....

Just a heads up.

I wonder if anyone has told QR that we aren't coming this year?

Towmaster 03-21-2014 08:08 AM

Actually ... I will be there, hopefully my first real 'race' in the Supercar.

BJ's Snake 03-21-2014 06:39 PM

Gary H has gone twin turbo.
Geoff T sold his car and has built brand new space frame car.
Towys retired his cobra to go sports sedan racing.
Wazzaz red racer now has a chunky er owner.

I've spoken to Gary H. He spoke to QR yesty and they were expecting our large group but he's ringing them Monday to let them know attendees may be limited to non existent.
