Hahaha. Can you fit you in anytime.

You just need to wear your sunglasses for the glare from the bling though.

Not looking good for me.... Day started off well.. Re packed mufflers, did valve spring lash, drained replaced ps fluid....then it was to find this frustrating oil leak. Was hoping for a leaking hose...

Pulled scavenge line off rocker covers and sent 10 psi of compressed air into the manifold hoping for silence........but no I've got 4 leaks under the front and back of the manifold due to those stupid freeeeking alloy wedges used to try and get the deck height level with the heads!!!

Argh the pros have had 2 cracks at this without success so now its up to me. Left the car in pieces and will order new gaskets and make up some new alloy wedges and attack sometime over the next few weeks.

As usual with car so far away it can't be done any earlier...

At this rate I won't make the nats! Gold Coast property market sucks a$$!

Hey Spook.....
Just managed to get a couple of rooms at the Best Western.....Paul,Tim,and myself on Friday night, and then Warwick joins us on the Saturday night.

Was a bit difficult arranging accommodation ....had a number of changes, and initially the country Comfort didn't have the rooms available.

Anyway we will all be " ipswichians" for the weekend.....instead of just me !
Cheers

Chris, if you really wanted to hang with the cool kids couldn't you borrow a cobra or GT40 for a little "weekend drive" with your connections?????

I do remember you loaning at 09 (?) Nats a nice DRB lime green cobra you seemed to do pretty well in.

Maybe the Sunoco LOLA wouldn't be too pleased with all the alternate attention.
