Looks great! What's the capacity of that sump - it looks massive.

KirkV 08-26-2013 05:25 AM

Wow nice looking stroker bud!

Gav 08-26-2013 05:30 AM

Yeah baby!
Be ready for the Nationals BJ?

BJ's Snake 08-26-2013 05:39 AM

Hey Gav
Be in and running but won't be racing it this year, 331 v 416 won't work anyways.

Craig
Sump is 7 quart, what ever that equates to.

Cheers

I didn't mean that you goose, i meant it will be good to catch up.
Are you going to do the Sunday tour?

letsboogie351 08-26-2013 04:08 PM

Sump is 7 quart, what ever that equates to. =14 pints = 2152 drams or 7.95 litres

spookypt 08-26-2013 04:33 PM

When I order my Royal Purple Engine oil from the states I can only get it in quart bottles... I've got bloody hundreds of them now. They ship in 44s and then decanter in those silly little quart bottles...

I only get 1 Quart = 0.94635294599999 Litre so perhaps they rate sump capacity different to the actual liquid conversion?

I wish I got over a litre a quart. The stuff I buy is bloody expensive!

Uhhh.....I do believe your calculation is off. ;)

1qt < 1litre

7 quarts = 6.624 litres.

Btw, that motor looks awesome!!

BJ's Snake 08-26-2013 06:11 PM

Yep 6.624 Litres by the looks
Cheers

Is the hose in the picture connected to the water pump and the valve on top of the manifold????? Never seen that before, that's one way to bypass a heater???

Hi Rick

Heater hose from water pump goes to fitting on manifold to activate thermo fan. Not running a heater. Should work ?????

Cheers
