Hey guys, don't forget the typical 358 inch Nascar engine produces about 850HP (maybe more) with a single four barrel, on race gas without nitrous and it will do it for an entire 500 mile Nascar race. That works out to about 2.37HP per inch of displacement which means that LS engine is roughly 140 HP short of the mark - if it had a four barrel!!
