Another kirkham for sale on carsales

Hi All,
As title suggests, another kirkham came onto the market today....

1965 AC Cobra

:)

fordracing65 04-08-2014 12:22 AM

Steering wheel is on the wrong side...

Gav 04-08-2014 12:31 AM

How common, a polished Kirkham....

soulman 04-08-2014 12:45 AM

Seems to be becoming a trend .....

Buy a Kirkham put on club rego and try to sell it!

I wonder how long before the whole club rego is scrapped ?

One thing if you going to keep it but just trying to capitalise on it ?

Soul.

nice car but 300 g is a awful lot of money tho . I couldn't be arsed trying to keep it that shiny and be worried about little dents from road use . I think when the time comes I think I will be looking for something a little cheaper lol well lot cheaper and wont be afraid so much of stone chips ect ect .

This is a 2012 Kirkham-65 Cobra,Highly polished Alloy body made by the Mig factory in Poland. The caris powered by Keith Craft 7.5 ltr engine putting out 600 BHP .

This is a truly amazing car.

How come it drops half a litre in engine size, and almost 200 bhp in the "engine specs" details ??

Because he has it listed as a 1965 cobra its probably the default engine that comes up in carsales that cant be overridden.

Cheers

Funny that, there are few cars I'd spend 1/4mil on...
I agree, that wouldn't be one of them. :o

Tonus72 04-08-2014 03:08 AM

Are you guys looking at the same pictures I am???

Talk about a tough crowd **)

A gorgeous Cobra on a Cobra forum and it gets more negative comments than positive... must be the tall poppy syndrome!

I am sure most on here would give their left nut for this car :JEKYLHYDE

Wazza 04-08-2014 04:06 AM

It's a VERY NICE car....
But $250,000 and only on club rego....

I'm guessing it would need someone with a LOT of money to spare, rather than someone trying to just get enough together to buy it.

Buy it and park it next to the Porsche, the Ferarri, the GT40,the Aston Martin DBS,the HK Monaro, and the GTHO......AAAAHHHHH
(Gotta go and change my pants)

You wouldn't buy it anyway it's got a ford in it.

When I win the $40M power ball on Thursday I reckon I'll buy me a Kirkham and put an LS1 in it just to give the purists the sh!ts. Maybe get Gav's old Taxi motor.

:p:LOL::LOL:

Interesting point Tony. Love the car but wouldn't part with $250k for it.

Now I might be willing to sell my left nut for $250k though. Got all the kids I'm gonna have. I wonder if there's a market out there...%/

Can it be polished like a Kirkham and do 160mph...%/

RodKnock 04-08-2014 11:40 AM

Well, if I were selling a $250,000 car, then I'd first buy a better camera. And take better pics. Sheesh, those pics are about as sharp as the dullest butter knife in the drawer.

Well, the owner did go the conservative route with the exterior and didn't brush center stripes.

And please get rid of the Shelby American data plate.

You wouldn't be the first to put an LS series engine in a Kirkham.

Good luck with power ball...
I vote for no. 22 as your power ball
