Side Pipes Wanted

Hi people

Does anyone know if anyone in OZ sells pre made cobra side pipes off the shelf?

Cheers

Not sure if Aussie Mike was looking at these as an option he would build for customers.

Find him on the forum and send him a PM to explore he idea I guess.

You thinking fake or live?

There's a seller on Ebay US who's selling side pipes and will post to Australia. Fairly priced too. Also, the Aus importer for Factory Five in WA wants about AUD$2K for a set of stainless ones.

Thanks mate, I have a guy to make my header pipes and he can make these but I thought I'd see if anyone was already selling them.

Yeah I want to run a live set, the Cobra I bought had fakes on it, which I just took off.

Aussie Mike is just up the road from me so I may see if he's doing them.

Yeah I saw the ones on ebay, pretty cheap to, I don't mind buying some stuff from OS but not sure I'd like to buy pipes without seeing them first hand or at least from a well know source.

I also want to run cats in the set up, I may have to just get them made.

Cheers guys

Hi there use to be a place in Adelaide I think it was called Nick fabrication just off south road. He had a web site he into cobras

stephen low 05-19-2014 06:08 AM

Dav

I recon he's still there as I'm sure it was this bloke that put Mando's car together.

He works really odd hours and had a number of Hi-Po and tub type mods for funny cars and the like.

Also built or worked on some cool looking custom choppers too.

I might be wrong of course - have been before!

I found these advertised on a UK website, made in China for Cobra, checkout the site for other bits. They will ship sidepipes to Australia for US $640 a set. I have tried to attach a photo

Would be interested in knowing whats in them. Cat's and what is the noise level is like.
Also what kit they are designed to fit.

Interesting to see what Dave from DB Replicas in the UK had to say about the company recently;

Kit car trader.

Might be a bit of a lottery. They might be fabulous or they might not...
