Default Mike, they're talking about you....

No, nothing sinister here! There's just a post on the main forum, and a couple of guys are wondering about your motor. Care to explain it to them : http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...5&pagenumber=2

Gee, you haven't got it on the road and it's getting attention already!

It's looking great, and I especially love how your front brakes look.

Craig

Nope, not mine. That's Craig's (COBRA.AU) very tasty looking car and he's a fair way further ahead than me. I'm still at the bolting the chassis together stage. Should have a box of goodies arriving next week to bolt onto it too. AVO coil overs, brake lines and a hand brake cable.

Cheers

Mike, as soon as I read Craig's post on the thread I mentioned, I realised my stupid mistake I bet you wish you were as far advanced as Craig's car, I know I sure do....

Are you getting your family to gift-wrap your suspension and brake parts in time for Christmas?

Easy mistake to make, we're both building much the same combination. It would be nice to be as advanced as Craig but I'm enjoying the build so far and wouldn't want to miss any of it.

Wrap up them suspension bits? Heck no! I couldn't wait the two weeks till Christmas to unwrap them.

I bought some urathane bushes for my front end today. I had originally fitted the original metalized rubber bushes as reccomended by the Jag parts guy I've been dealing with. After talking to a few people they convinced me that they definitely improve the handling in a Cobra. I fitted them to the lower control arms today and bolted them up.

Got any progress pics of your project? wouldn't mind seeing a shot of your wheels. You mentioned you were running 17s in another post.

Cheers
