will check it out I don't have much choice it has to be a auto for me as I have a buggered left leg from a accident that makes it hard to operate a clutch on some cars .
can I ask what diff ratio you are running with it ?

cheers dean

I'm with you Deano. Have two full knee replacements as a result of numerous motor cycle prangs. Yes mate, I'm running it through a 3.3 Jag rear end.

Baz, that is a convincing argument right there to run a 6L80E. :)

Deno, ratio wise Baz is on the money, you want to run something a little taller. So for our customers we recommend either 3.27 or 3.45 depending on tyre diameter with the auto's.

3:9's are pretty good too.
Unless I where planning a trip to Bonneville or trying to reset a fuel economy record I wouldn't go taller than a 3:45.

Just rocked up on the Gold Coast and the weather is worse than Adelaide ah we'll just been given the good news that I'm going to be a grandpa at long last to a boy can't wait till he is old enough to come racing ..lol. Hope you all have had a great Father's Day. Cheers Deano

Ill take a guess and say that I might meet you sometime tomorrow ???

I'm using my hoist that I keep at Absolute Pace, doing a few tidy ups on my Cobra.

I'm amazed at the people I run into there !!

Cheers,
Warren

Yeah, L98 is the pick of them in my books, no DOD to worry about.

Agree.

DOD or AFM in a VE although great in theory, is prone to failure. Roller lifters turn in bores and then permanent misfire due to no inlet for the offending cylinder.
