Bloody oath! it should have been parc ferme.
Nobody should have had any work done on their car when parked up like that.
Any work should only be done under normal pit conditions.

V8 Supercars slipped up here.

There was plenty of time to bring out makeshift stripper poles along with the appropriate entertainment to ensure that the show when on when the cars were stopped during the track repair.

This is the half time servicing that showcases 'The Great Race' to the world.

Whilst Im blue and pleased to get another one, as someone who wants to see racers race, I think JW problem is the internal problems that could be bubbling away in the organisation after what happened. He ignored his race engineer repeatedly and answered only to his previous race engineer (Dutton). That's not going to sit well with Dane, who has already publicly criticized JW for "losing the race".
A fabulous spectacle but geez was some money tore up in damage, across many categories for the week of racing.
I also believe parc ferme conditions should be enforced at such stoppages.

But as I tried in vain to explain to the wife that the result was good for our household because the value of the Cobra's new motor just went up 5K due to it being built by a "2 times Bathurst winner" and that this would justify some nice stack injection. I too finished like Whincup on that one................coughing and spluttering to the line and facing a cool environment out of the public eye.
But I just had to try..................

Cheers
