What's the point of this thread ????

Am I missing something?..... Probably....wouldn't be the first time.

A never ending /price changing/ can't do anything about it ...post ??

Just not sure what purpose it serves to know the price of fuel....every day...every state...various countries...followed by another pile of the same comments every few days...

So if I keep an eye on the thread....I can find out what the price of fuel was in Geelong today...but then what do I do....I go to the servo here at the Gold Coast, and tell them it's two cents cheaper in Geelong??

Sorry...I just don't get it!

It's doing my head in.

Cheers,
Warren

Geez Wazza calm down.

My wife bought 1/2 kilogram of cherries at coles today. At $12.90 / kg I was pretty pi*$ed.

I'd be keen to know what you guys are paying for cherries. :)

Wazza 01-12-2015 05:03 AM

Cherries give me the pips....lol

TheDoc 01-12-2015 05:07 AM

I know I can vent to you guys...

I couldn't believe how much she spent on cherries.

I said "I presume a hooker only costs $250.. at 60kg a hooker would be a little over $4 a kilogram".

I told her Im not spending more on fruit, pound for pound, than I ever would on a hooker. Suffice to say, Im sitting here by myself now.

I'll be in Amsterdam on the 22nd January...... Apparently hookers are 40 Euro for 15 minutes! At least I'll have time for a cigarette and a coffee........

Towy......

Treeve 01-12-2015 05:46 PM

Cherries in Orange NSW, $8/kg.

As a hooker weighing in at 96kg I can just about manage 80 minutes. I reckon I offer excellent value to my local rugby team compared to what you lot have to deal with.

renovationinnov 01-12-2015 10:00 PM

BJ's Snake 01-13-2015 12:33 AM

WTF, you have Cobras and are worried about fuel price, Wowsers.
In Monaco yesterday and the cheapest taxi was a Merc, a slice of cake was 50 bucks, a 300 foot Super Yacht had a 100 foot tender and a 30 foot f'n dingy.
The Prince has 97 cars in his personal collection that you can look at for 7 bucks.
Twenty something year olds driving Bentleys and Ferrari's are like Commodores here.
Don't think they give a rats about fuel prices either......
FYI it's 1.67 Euro per litre.
Anyway must get to Amsterdam, 40 euros you say Ash. Hmmmm

Cheers

Renovationinnov,

The conversion you are looking for is near the beginning of this thread somewhere, 3.78 liters to the US gal from memory, their gallons must be smaller than ours, i thought ours is about 4.1.
