I just filled up the sport with diesel this arvo and paid $1.48 at the same garage that sells e10 for $1.16, but the attendant told me that diesel will drop by at least 20 cents next week, we will see.

Mostly $1.45 in Canb although when Costco is open they sell it for $1.28, some drop it to match, but not for long.

Relax - Geoff means $0.57 a litre, not half a cent!

But freakin' cheap (as you'd expect) Geoff.

LPG was a bit over 60c/L down here when I filled up this morning. Hasn't been that cheap in a very long time.

Cheers

Hey Don.

Yes we have no ULP in town, it is all Opal.
I think that is about $1.78
Pulp is at $1.90 per litre (or there abouts)

I'm about 70 miles from Dwight and I paid $4.29 per gallon for 93 non-ethanol about a month ago. I'm sure there are other stations selling non-ethanol fuel over the mountain in Huntsville and after reading this thread, I'm curious to know what they are charging compared what I've paid at the local Conoco.

According to Google
1 US Gal = 3.78541 Litres

$2.149 / Gallon = $0.57 / Litre

Paid $2.89 USD / gal today for 91 octane premium. Based on what the Saudi's just announced, we may see it drop further! They are ok with oil going to $20 a barrel, which is good and bad. It will certainly put a squeeze on many, but they can afford to just do it and crush the competition.

Default Sunoco 260GT

100 octane $8.50 gallon at the pump

I was paying $12.50 a gallon for VP 108 octane but that was in 15 gallon containers and not practical.

Filled up for $2.199/US Gallon of 91 octane, today. That was at a club membership store (Costco) so it was at least $.20 less than the public stations. I liked it and it si "top tier" gasoline. The "regular" 87 octane was $1.999, same as the majority of the public stations I passed.

We dont have 87 octane in Australia, only 91, 93, 95, 98 and i heard on ABC radio this morning from some expert head of some agency that petrol should be $1 a litre at the moment and it should drop further, as for the price of diesel he said it should be on a par with petrol and we are being gouged enormously with diesel prices, he said the fuel companies are making astronomical profits at the moment, more so than any other time in history, im sure he also said than the Saudis are prepared to sell crude for as low as $20 a barell, i think it is all linked to the industrialists trying to cripple Russia.
