Default Kit external measurements

Hi all,

I am on the hunt for a cobra but before I buy I need to findout if it will fit in the garage with the proposed new bench set up and existing cupboards. I have done some initial measurements and I reckon it will fit but before I build the bench it would be good to findout if I am right. So I am after the external width of various kits inc mirrors please.

Thanks in advance

Andrew

Roughly allow for car perimeter to be 3.9m x 1.9m should cover you for most kits +/- a few inches either way. Subject to brand, bumpers bit&bobs.

When I decided to build a Cobra I adjusted everything to make it fit ! It is amazing what you can "adjust" to get that car in !

This is my standard single car garage, it fits easily with room to move and a work bench at the end.
it looks tight in the photo, but the drivers door open fully with about 2 feet off the wall and the work bench has about 3 feet in front of it.

Looks like a really nice cosy place to work.

I worked on cars for a long time with a single car garage and a carport. Push the project car out into the carport to work on it. Push it back in when your done.

There's some great ideas for making efficient use of shed space over on the Garage Journal forum. www.garagejournal.com

Cheers
