Looks sensational! How much belt do you have on the water pump pulley? I can't see in this photo too well. I ended up with a standard rotation water pump and a set of March pulleys to be sure I got the pump spinning. It looks like you might have some special (aka really sticky?) pulley on the pump. Quote:

There's not alot of contact but seems to work ok. I will eventually change to standard rotation for period look. Out of interest, do you know the part numbers for the standard rotation water pump and timing cover to suit a 5.0l Windsor?? Cheers |

Checking my records, I did replace the timing cover (the original failed) and I cannot remember if there were two versions. I think there is just one for both pumps. I did manage to find the pump box but it is a little worse for wear. Details below. Hopefully there is enough there to at least point you in the right direction.
