Trularin,

Sounds like you have far to much spare time. I have been home only 24 hours and already I have a list of things to do at home.

She who must be obeyed has quite a list on the refridgerator door of things that need doing around the house - grass, garden etc etc.

I'm working on everone elses car at the moment.

Garrett's gearbox is all done and waiting to go back in. I had it all together with the new billet keys and steel 3-4 shift fork but I decided to strip it again and replaced the complete 1-2 and 3-4 synchroniser assemblies. The teeth were a bit rounded when I checked them and they might have been OK but the rounding on the teeth would have made the the shifts a bit harder. This would have put more strain on everything else in the box and with the power he's making that's probably not healthy.

Bernies car is getting a set of side pipes with a couple of sets of baffles. Quiet ones for the street and loud ones for the track. I'm also making a few dress up bits for his engine, a billet alternator mount and a billet throttle cable return spring setup.

I did a little bit of work on mine. I bought a good flaring tool to do my fuel lines with and got my fuel pump mounted.

Cheers

I hear Bernie (dad :p) has a fully motorised folding roof on his convertible... one touch of a button and 15 seconds later it is gone under a nice little cover... all the precision of a German automobile.

He also has 18" rims...

;) ;)

Bernie, yes I have a list. Is it getting done...well the mowing, harvesting berries and watering has taken over. Not to mention Erich has hockey tryouts.

Hey, where in the world did you post the pics off your camera????

Let me know when you are coming to Detroit. Bring Todd.

TMK 2002 07-12-2005 07:26 AM

Detroit in on my list trularin! I cant wait to come to America... I will be flying all over the place.

LA to see OC, LV to see Shelby & the lights, NYC to see the big apple, Evansville, IN to go to Outback restaurant. I have a friend with a MINI in MI, so its a must to come there... I would love to go to NHRA racing and maybe a NASCAR race.

Just have to get the cash together...

trularin 07-12-2005 11:57 AM

Ask your dad for some.:D

BMK 07-12-2005 03:33 PM

trularin

I have not put the pictures on. I will get Todd to give me some help.

ask your Dad for some ....%/

I can tell you Dad is really short of dollars at the moment. I had a little spend up on the way home...:3DSMILE:

%/

Whilst I was away, Anne decided that she would beat me to the bank and get some money out to go shopping. Just in case I had any ideas of buying a GT40.

Now matter how many times I told her I wasn't going to buy a GT40, she did not believe me...

Will talk to Todd about getting the London photos sorted. The one of you guys on the freeway, was very blurred due to sunlight.

Cheers

Bernie

TMK 2002 07-13-2005 03:44 AM

Hahahaha, Im still giggling at you thinking Im 32!?!

Where did you get that info from?:p If I was 32... dad would have been 20 when I was conceived :D

Hahaha... Mum would have been 18 - what f**ked up country town are you from !?! :p

Aussie Mike 07-13-2005 04:19 AM

Obviously you haven't been to Melbourne's Western subburbs lately Todd :p

justbetter 07-13-2005 04:29 AM

older

Just think the Mr Bernie looks older than he is, and thats prob due to you Jnr Todd.

Love to hear what you have stacked, rolled, or dinged in your short " i've got a licence" years.

P.s hope you never ask me that question.

trularin 07-13-2005 05:40 AM

Here now! I hung with your dad and he's not old enough to have a child 32. So I know you, Todd, are 21 simply because Bernie did state on occation that he was 29...at the pub...third pint in.

Still would love to see your shots.

stiffy 07-13-2005 05:41 AM

THATS EASY

Where do you live again.........

Thats right GEELONG, the place of more prams per square mile
than MOE..........:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

TMK 2002 07-13-2005 06:13 AM

Hahaha, Garrett. Just the one car stacked car 3 times :p I just didnt do it in halves :D

Geelong isnt that bad... You'd probably tear it up down here Stiffy!

I meant that mum & dad would have 3 kids by 18 & 20 respectively...

Trularin, dad's shots were very similar to all the others at the LCS anad the ones on the highway were woeful cause he held the camera too close to the window.

Clubcobra is not really compatible to my Mac so it is a pain in the butt to load the photo's... with dad being such a n00b, it is hard for him to do it in Mt Gambier. Hopefully he can work it out soon.
