Hello Patrick, and welcome to the forum.
I did a number of searches and couldn't find anything on indicators in mirrors, however that doesn't mean there aren't any, of course.
If you can't find something that satisfies your local road registration requirements, the fall back of course is the normal position ahead of the doors.
Is your car a complete car or a kit? Which engine and gearbox?

Cheers!
Glen

So if you had a truly original CSX car, would they make you butcher it up and put extra lights on it???

G'day Patrick

When I was building my car, I saw a pair of bullet mirrors modded by the owner that had placed small orange indicating lamps somewhere outboard on the mirror bodies. Wired back through the base into the door.

I recall the logic being at the time that normal road cars were starting to appear with the same sort of idea in the mirrors, so why not.

I think if these meet the ADR requirements then it is a possibility but back then it was home done. Doubt though that there are bullet mirrors made like this it would again have to be your own handywork.

For me I mounted MX5 round indicators in the bottom rear corner of the side vent holes without the vents installed. Had made a simple ali L shape bracket that was screwed inside to the front of footwell walls.

Did this as it was my intention to see these indicators drop off the car after rego, which happened and vents went into the holes instead.

They've never been replaced and no one has questioned their absence.

Though I do understand why you need them initially for registration.

Just some thoughts.

Steve
