Hi to you smoke

I recently started my 351 strocker motor and found that initially there was a little smoke but this appeared to be mainly a high fuel mix. This settled down quickly.

After running the engine and running in the cam there is no evidence of any smoke. Mind you we did have some initial problem and found that the cam was a 302 unit and after timing and removing some plug leads and re positioning it ran very smooth with not sign of fuel or smoke.

You will probaly get a few more knowledgeable people respond to you question but from a novice point of view I had a 289 that was built by a friend John Petersen and I found that it only smoked tyres and never even gave a sign of any smoke.

Hopefully this strocker will be the same.

Cheers

Bernie
