Craig mate,

We need a starter motor for the new Victorian secret weapon.
We figure that little 805hp mill of yours would do the trick.:3DSMILE:

We may also need a mould from your bonnet scope.

Victoria fast one day; Supersonic the next:3DSMILE:

Jason - great photo! You had me measuring against the Cobra to see where everything would fit. With the extra space available by using my bonnet, anything will fit %/

I don't see what the big deal is though - Ford and Shelby had planned this all along. They've even named cars after it.....

Rebel1 09-05-2003 02:07 AM

Did I hear my name mentioned??

Ohh...was only that REPTYL fella ;)

Hey....I was thinkin about one of them things...the ultimate hair dryer..but.

I figered I would havta have about 20 2.5 inch exhaust pipes across the back..wont work :D

You victorian fellas dont need it either....you lot blow enuff hot air without something like that. :3DSMILE: :3DSMILE:

Hope you Queensland folks noted the sunshine we had in Melbourne the day we took the photos (the ones REPTYL posted)of the new BIG block that was being fitted to my car. It all went in pretty smoothly although the front end sits a tad lower now and it's a buggar of a thing to start.

REPTYL 09-08-2003 06:03 AM

Welcome to the victor..oops I mean Australian Cobra Forum

Good to see you on board Chris.
Take it easy on those QLD folk; they're a little soft and easily offended.
You'll find you will need to explain things in a little more detail, and not to many big words mate, that just confuses them.

BMK 09-08-2003 04:44 PM

Hey I an glad to be out of this debate.

Its great in South Australia - beautiful one day and better the next.

What great weather for the 'Weekend at Bernies' - sunshine in the middle of winter and roofs off!!

Chris, great new engine mate. this will need an a seperate class at the Nationals, definity takes you out of the "shopping trolley" class.

snaken

Aussie Mike 09-08-2003 09:54 PM

I think that will definitely put him in the "Blown" class. I'm not sitting behind him on the run up to Golburn either. Fuel stops every 10KM is going to be a pain too.

Welcome to the Forum Snaken and Chris D

Cheers

boxhead 09-08-2003 10:23 PM

I will second Mikes welcome and say Hi to Chris & Snaken.
With a pipe that big out the back of a cobra people may think you have a ricer car.

ac andy 09-09-2003 05:10 AM

Pete, can you recommend the work you had done at Race Brakes. I was in there earlier this week speaking to Howard and he seemed to know what he was talking about. Im looking at getting my brakes set up in the next couple of weeks.

Andy.

REPTYL 09-09-2003 06:01 AM

Andy, (race brakes) is that the guy at Flemmington.
If so, he comes highly recommended.

Aussie Mike 09-09-2003 06:19 AM

I think Andy is the only one down here breeding like Rabbits. He's got himself a whole pit crew in the making.:D
