Thanks to Mike Murphy for giving his time to help repair my engine as he missed most of the Saturday action at the Cobra Nationals.

Bryan...Sounds like a serious repair if it took most of saturday. Hope it's not an on going problem.

My pleasure Bryan, You did most of the work anyway.

I get as much enjoyment out of working on Cobras as I do watching them on the track. Besides it made me feel a lot more involved with the event especially since I didn't have a car there myself.

Racing on Sunday was awesome. Most of these cars are unbelievably fast. We were on the wall of the main straight and the cars were coming past us at full noise, magnificent. Plenty of spins but fortunately no damage. Garrett stuck his Superformance in the kitty litter at the end of the main straight going very fast.

One of the most spectacular was Scott's turbo Lexus Cobra. He was on slicks and still wheel spinning down the main straight and hitting 220 at the end. His times we about 2 seconds quicker than anything out there. Unfortunately running slicks ment he wasn't eligible for points.
