Thumbs up Quickest lap time goes to a Qlder!!!

Spoke to Scott this morning to get some results from the weekend. I was pleased to hear that despite being drastically outnumbered by the other states, Queensland has the fastest Cobra outright.

Yes - he had race tyres, but it is a race track after all......

He also mentioned that Jason's wife took home a lot more trophies than Jason

It sounded like a great weekend all round. Shame I missed it.

Exclamation Mrs OZVENOM

I told Mrs ozvenom that she was going to compete next year to make the ladies class into 5 horse race. though i hope to have legal dot tyres and traction control i realy think the cobra needs it .
i may need a pile of sedatives to make it through the weekend.

yeh yeh... Had to get over this years ago.

Judy has at least 20 big monsters that I could barley lift.
Jason has about five (that you could pick up in one hand.)

But I still smile when I hear all the stories about wives and girl friends not sharing in the Cobra spirit with their partners.

This has never been a problem with Judy and I love her for it.

Talking nope.

I checked when i got home last nite definatly not.

But she can drive quite well she sticks it to the guys in the club at gokart nites would have finished 3rd last time if it wasnt for a kart failure. a few of the guys thought she was to agresive when passing i thought no thats racing. .

but i know she is bit scared of the cobra now . but then so was i when i first hit the track on friday. it was the first time i have ever drive a car faster than i could go . and i still am looking for the limits of it.

OH WHAT A FEELING TOYOTA ( and a big turbo)

Jason - if you replaced your LPG rego sticker with an NOS sticker, you might pick up a couple of those seconds...

Oh what a feeling....! Scott - get up on top of your rollbar and jump off it. I'll take the "Oh what a feeling" photo, and we'll post it here. I won't take any responsibility for broken ankles or legs though.....

I'll also paint my 80lt gas tank blue and put some stickers on that aswell. That would scare those riccies wouldn't it?
Still think it would take a lot more than that to get me going quicker.

Mate, does anyone have a listing of lap times yet? I seem to remember last year that the lap times were posted on a website shortly after the event.

Also, who won the drags / go-whoa / show awards, etc?

Geoff Pinch won the over five lt drags 7.4 (I think)
Laurrie B(vic) won forced 7.7
Garrett (justbetter (vic)) second in forced 8.4

Trevor Simkins(vic) won street class show and shine.
I think Steve Slater(vic) won the show class

The second driver in Mike Helmers Robnell won the hill climb (I think)

I should have a copy of the results before the end of the week.
