Default New Topline pro-action heads from NZ

Hey fellas...look at these nice new heads...for those of us in Aussie..the $A/$NZ exchange rate makes these real good value.

http://www.protopline.com/racingaluminumford.asp

Looks like they flow well and should make HUGE HP.

WOW!!!!!!

At .086 exchange rate, these are without doubt the best value Ford cylinder head on the planet.

The ProAction heads gained a bit of a reputation in the US for making good HP in small block Chevs a year or two ago. There have never been quality problems with them.

They would need the exhaust flow to be lifted by about 30cfm on the exhaust (from .400" to .700") to work well with a supercharger, but for an atmo motor they look great!

I really think I should buy a set of these, but I'm not quite sure when I'll be building another motor. I know, I can bolt them onto my 5.0L ute

Yep..I agree Craig.

The quoted flow numbers are as cast heads too.....get loose with a grinder and you never know what one can achieve

They dont seem to offer CNC'd SBF heads yet....that would be interesting

Default nice looking ute Craig. But....

My goodness! You need to get that suspension looked at my friend.

No I take that back. You need to find the guy that stole your suspension and left you ute sitting on the ground!

... but don't call them Blue Thunder, as you'll get these guys offside http://www.bluethunderauto.com/

Bummer - I just noticed that even though they're a Kiwi company, all prices listed on their website are in USD..... That puts them about linball with the Edelbrock Vic Jr heads. What a shame - I was getting all psyched about giving the old ute a few more HP...

Mate - you do what you can to save weight. If it means throwing away the springs, then so be it!!! No, I was just having a play to see if I should get some airbag suspension to complement the new wheels.

Sanity prevailed. This is my only legal / daily driver and I'm not modifying it anymore

... until the supercharger is bolted on.
