Finally picked up my GEN 3 , Now i just need my kit , 8 weeks to go .

I can understand the excitment.

Have you checked if there will be any troubles like pneal had regarding year of the engine?

If the engine has a number stamped on the block head surface at r/h front corner then it should start with a VF then 2 numbers, these 2 numbers are the year the engine was built
ie; mine says VF00******* so it is a 2000 model

Over here in South Oz the engine only needs to pass adr-37 so anything after about 1990-1995 depending on which brand you use should be fine , The ls1 is definetly OK

Congrats on getting your engine Ledge, that's a big step.

I reckon over the next few years there will be a lot of Cobras getting registered in SA
