Cobras in Sydney

Guys,

I'm going to spending most of April in Sydney, unfortunately away from my "baby", although I'm bringing the wife and kid with me.

Is there a meet in the Sydney area during April where I can get my Cobra withdrawl symptoms assuaged......a family friend is also a car nut ( he has a lowered tuned "Ute" whatever that is) so we should be able to get a pass for a few hours of
"petrolheading"........

Any tips of where to go in Sydney to see Cobra's et al?

Its a shame you can't bring you Cobra with you. It would be good to see another car that has something different to the Ford/Chev motor.

A lowered ute in Australia is equivalent to a pickup (lowered suspension) in the UK, often termed a lowlux as apposed to a hilux (which often has raised suspension) - Hope that makes sense.

If you can stray away from Sydney for a while pop up north to Queensland. Unlike the UK, the more north you are in Oz the hotter it gets.

The beauty of QLD is that the climate is ideal for Cobra's 90% of the year (forget the hard or soft top).
