Default The two Jasons

Got my Snaketales today...always look forward to it...great read.

Open the thing up and there on page 3 is a pic of the two Jasons.

Now..damn near the whole page was related to patting Jason 1 on the back for all he has done for the VCCC over the years.

And .... wonders will never cease....I agree with all that was said, even if he is a Victorian.

Great work Jason1, you deserve all the accolades (sp)

Now...as to the pic.....it resides on my dartboard, right over the bullseye.

Will be real safe there as I have never hit a bullyeye in my life.

Mind you...the pic will give me the incentive to keep practicing.

Thought we could have some fun with the photos of our beloved pres and past presidents...

Now we all have their photos in the snake tales, i'd like to propose the photos be plased in unsusual locations, a photo then taken and posted here...

Cant wait to see Les's, and others around the country.

Will post mine tonight when i can grab the camera at home.

Now let me see, where could i put them both

Hehehe Bernie ... good stuff

Hey... do me a favour ... don't put it in the girls toot .. Make sure it's on the reading side of all the male toot doors

Put a caption on the pic ... wanna ride a powerful snake?? contact Jason1 or Jason11 .. phone xxxx xxx xxx.

And Bernie ...next time you're at St Kilda or Lygon Street ...find the public toots and put it in there too.

Now...that should get some veryyyyyy interesting responses.

Gawwwd...I hope neither of em ever visit the sunny state .. I'm a dead man if they do.

I'll post a Pic of the Photo as soon as I can dream up a location different to my dartboard.

Talking PLease Remember

I do have most of your phone numbers and I know where all of the vics live . If i do get any strange requests I am taking a tally of just who is annoying me and dont think just because you live else where a quick phone call to a wonderful group of presidents will have your address and phone number before you can blink.

Keep that in mind before anything else

Hey Les,

We invented the bloody language and tarmacked is how you spell it.

Tarmac and tarmacked

And while I'm on.....

Being a Civil Engineer, asphalt is the top layer of a tarmacked road - often termed HMA (Hot mixed asphalt). It is generally a thin layer due to the aggregate (stone) size, which gives the smooth running surface.

Tarmacadam roads originally consisted of tar binding the stone together and was initially used by John McAdam in Scotland - hence the name.

Tar has generally been replaced by bitumen these days and hence the term bitumen roads.

There endeth the lesson.

I'd give you a call to discuss further, but remembered you ain't got phones yet

Nowwww...Listen here Uncle Pete

If you keep that sorta attitude going I know just the fella to come visit your place and ...

hang on ...lemme get this technically correct ..

He'll turn ya quiet little suburban bitumen street into a muti lane racetrack by melting the asphalt down to the tarmac or tarmack..depends where you were born.

Whew!!..... now...be a good fella or I'll personally come down and
tarmac and feather ya.....or is that asphalt and feather ya

well!!....I'll be tarmached.

Les,

Its not good to fight amongst ourselves - That's why Victoria was created.

Also, our street hasn't got any asphalt on it. Its sealed bitumen (sorry, won't go on anymore)!

Look forward to either you or Craig (or both) to make that trip south - Coldies always in the fridge

On edge at the moment as want my car back (sat in my tranny specialists shed with rebuilt tranny & separate oil cooler replacing the radiator one - ready to go).

However, until more dosh filters into my account it will have to sit there

You know what its like being a Consultant!

Either get it later today or realistically Monday - gives me time to clean the shed out

You QLD guys are pathetic!!!
You start up a thread to hang a bit of sh!t on a couple of good looking honest guys
and then end up talking about road construction.
I will have to give the ball a bit of a kick-start it seams.

I think the reason no body has posted a picture is:
While you have been sitting up late on the PC talking about tarmac and bitumen.

Your wives and lady friends have been pleasuring themselves while viewing the "Snaketales page 3 guys".
I'm sure if you head in to the bedrooms and check under the mattress you'll find your missing Snaketales.

And just for all you ladies online:

We will be doing pre-race signing at the Wakefield media centre October 3.
Get there early to avoid the queues.

Jealousy gets you nowhere Jason1.

We all know the QLD climate is the best - 24 degrees and blue skies today.

Move up here and experience the good life!

And, I hardly think our wive's take pleasure from a "Hunks of the Month" in Snaketales.

Life's not that bad

In case you haven't noticed,
I keep the weather jokes to a minimum during the Victorian winter months.
But I'll be the one laughing when the long dry Vic mid 30s roll in,
And you guys are all under your little pink brollies, protecting these ugly QLD scones from the mid afternoon tropical downpours.

Quote:

One of the main criteria in the voting for the worlds most livable city was "year round climate" Vic - pass. QLD - fail.
Queensland is a warmer alternative to the Vic ski session.
But I'd take a Vic Spring, Sum, Autumn anytime.
