Default Timber Veneer

When starting to install my new gauges I discovered that the plate they are fixed to are metal resulting in the existing wood veneer being damaged whilst drilling the cutouts (bubbled with the heat from the drill).

Where can I get hold of a sheet of polished veneer to replace the old one?

Preferably Brisbane.

Thanks guys and I hope your x-mas break is going well.

Sorted it.....

$22 stick on from Autobarn and you can not tell the difference

Will post a pic when the gauges have been wired in - hopefully tomorrow.

And.................

Guess what I got for my birthday........

A set of tyres (what a suprise from my better half )

Nexen 3000's - what you may ask?????

They look very much like Falken 451's - special deal from a friend who imports them from Asia - $100 each (less than a third of the retail price!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Very nice

Finally found some time to fit the gauges onto my new timber contact paper dash

They've turned out well and now I can boast that my interior has an original touch - well nearly, with the Stewart Warner Gauges.

I'm pleased with the end product
